As a Visitor Services Assistant, you will have the privilege of working in a beautiful environment, surrounded by nature, gardens, fine interiors, ornate buildings, and furniture. You will be a part of a fairytale backdrop and historical stories that will transport visitors back in time.
As a member of the Visitor Services team, your main responsibility will be to provide a warm welcome to visitors from across the globe and make their visit to Kellie Castle a memorable and positive experience. You will be part of a team that is committed to ensuring the smooth and safe running of day-to-day operations, making Kellie Castle the best possible place to visit.
As a Visitor Services Assistant, you will have the opportunity to maximize sales through your excellent customer service and product knowledge, taking pride in the castle's presentation and operation to provide an exceptional experience for all your visitors. You will be involved in admissions, catering, membership, and retail sales and will be proactive in engaging with visitors, talking about the stories and history of the castle, delivering tours, and answering visitors' questions.
The National Trust for Scotland is committed to developing and improving their offerings, services, and operations, and you will work closely with your line manager to actively provide feedback on visitor comments.
This role offers a competitive rate of £10.90/hour and a pension, with opportunities to work either full-time or part-time. As a Visitor Services Assistant, you will receive free NTS membership, free parking, 20% off NTS holiday cottages, and excellent holiday allowances, including 30 days plus 7 days at Christmas.
