Xpress Recruitment Ltd is a recruitment business which provides work-finding services to its clients and work-seekers. The Company must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) so that it can provide these services – in doing so, we act as a data controller.

For example, it is mandatory to check a successful applicant's eligibility to work in the UK before employment starts. How long does Xpress Recruitment Ltd keep data for?
The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services. In line with this we will keep your data for a maximum of 3 years. Upon expiry of that period the Company will seek further consent from you. Where consent is not granted the Company will cease to process your data and it will permanently be deleted.
Who Has Access to Data?
The Company shares your data with third parties where required by law or as part of work-finding services, where it is necessary in order to administer the working relationship with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so. The Company may also share your data with other third parties, for example, in the context of a sale of some or all of its business.
