Our client is a popular snowsports destination in Scotland, located within the Cairngorms National Park, and has been offering snowsports for over 50 years. In winter, the Resort is a commercial ski operation. In summer, the Resort serves as a summer tourist destination. The surrounding area attracts over 1.8 million annual visitors predominantly in summer with the Resort itself attracting circa 200,000 annual visitors.
The Operations Manager will provide effective oversight and management of all commercial cost centre functions within Cairngorm Mountain including catering, retail, guest services and equipment hire. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that these areas of operation consistently provide a high-quality customer experience and maximise areas of opportunity for increasing revenue. The Operations Manager will also support the interim Chief Executive in the general management of other operational areas including identifying opportunities for achieving operational efficiencies.
The role would suit someone who has had significant operational experience and a proven track record within a diverse and challenging customer facing business environment.
