The Place:  


Xpress is delighted to be working with an Edinburgh Bar and Restaurant on this occasion. As part of one of Scotland’s leading Restaurant Groups, we are specifically looking for an Assistant Manager to add to their successful business.


 


The Job: 


As part of the Assistant Manager role, you will be responsible for managing the following areas relating to



  • Opening and closing the restaurant.

  • Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.

  • Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.

  • Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.

  • Conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner.

  • Ensuring that the restaurant/bar adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.

  • Purchasing stock and restaurant equipment.


 


The Person:  


Ideally, we are looking to attract an experienced individual who is perhaps working as a food server or in a supervisor capacity and looking to progress to their next role who wants to work in a quality establishment or indeed someone who enjoys working in a food and beverage environment but is looking for something locally where you will be part of a great team.


 


The Rewards: 


Our client is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager for circa £27,000 plus gratuity payments, pension, and bonus for working over the Festive Season. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continually invests in you and the business.
