The Job:

As Resort General Manager, you will be taking responsibility and overseeing the operational running of this exquisite resort-style hotel, focussing on all hotel operations which boasts a newly opened restaurant (1 of 2), which offers first-class dining experiences, destination spa, first-class golf course as well as luxury suites amongst the accommodation side of operations. You’ll direct training, developing and trigger motivation within your management team; delivering and maintaining standards to ensure the guest’s needs are met and exceeded. Working closely with the Head of Commercial in further developing the Hotel and other business streams.

The Person:

You must have at least 5*Hotel experience, a good strong understanding of F&B or have gained quality restaurant training and background preferably within a premium fine dining establishment as part of your career to date. The role would ideally suit an experienced Resort Hotel Manager looking to take that next step up into Resort general management or a Director of F&B/Director of Operations with a good understanding of food and liquor control within a quality environment. Skilled in manning levels and team development are also essential. Excellent presentation and FOH skills are also crucial. However, someone with some bedroom experience looking to gain more overall experience in Hotel Management will also be considered. We see our next Resort General Manager to be the one that delivers the luxury touches and has a fine eye for detail, who will be creating cultures not just delivering the norm.

The Rewards:

Our client is offering an outstanding package of circa £85k, plus numerous company benefits will be provided to the right candidate. Please bear in mind no live-in accommodation is available with this post.
