Our client a city centre hotel based in Newcastle has a fantastic opportunity for a Night Manager to join the Front Office Team. Set in a bustling, city with a renowned brand and prestigious reputation, our client puts you in the heart of it all. Owing to internal changes the company are now looking to strengthen and attract ideally an existing Night Receptionist or Night Manager now looking to take that step up and now work in a five-star environment.
The Job
Serving as the property Night Manager you will oversee all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. Represents property management in resolving any guest or property related situation. Manages the safety and security of the hotel for all guests and associates. Ensures that standards are maintained and improved where possible. The job holder must be fully conversant with company policies and procedures and ensure that these are adhered to. To actively contribute to achieving the targets set for the Front Office Balanced Scorecard.
The Person
To be considered for this Night Manager role previous front office supervisor experience is essential unless the applicant has extensive night’s porter or reception experience and is looking to take the next step in their career. The candidate will have the drive and determination to really succeed and make a difference. Suitable candidates will have excellent leadership and man-management skills together with the ability to train and develop their team. Additionally, good communication skills, attention to detail and excellent personal presentation will be required.
