Our client is one of the biggest names in the Scottish hospitality market; A National renowned operating brand known across Scotland for quality and innovation, owning to recent internal expansion within the group they are now looking to appoint an Area Operational Support Chef to oversee the running and development of a cluster of volume outlets based predominately within Glasgow.

The Place:

Our client is one of the biggest names in the Scottish hospitality market; A National renowned operating brand known across Scotland for quality and innovation, owning to recent internal expansion within the group they are now looking to appoint an Area Operational Support Chef to oversee the running and development of a cluster of volume outlets based predominately within Glasgow.



The Job:

As the Area Operational Support Chef, you will be directly responsible for a team of Head Chefs who in turn will report to you in regard to all budgets, team developments and further remits. Each unit operates within its own standalone budget so as Area Operational Support Chef it will be your job remit to make sure that all financial budgets are being achieved, you will also be responsible for making sure of the company compliance and training of all personnel are in line with company procedures. As Area Operational Support Chef you will also be expected to work closely with each unit's GM as well as the kitchen teams and also the company's head office Group Culinary team on new product development, menu tastings and pilot menu concepts.



The Person:

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced multi-site Chef Leader who has gained an excellent grounding in multi-site management, we are looking for someone that is indeed passionate about food and food development however someone also can truly understand that food margins and profitability must be at the core of the job, As Area Operational Support Chef you will also be able to communicate well across all senior channels and be expected to lead and develop all of your existing Head Chefs and kitchen brigades in achieving improved training and development within all of their job remits. Our client would indeed be attracted to an existing Restaurant/Bar background individual who instantly would understand such a culture, however, they would not rule out an exceptional individual who can demonstrate clear leadership and financial management knowledge and achievement to date in their career.



The Rewards:
