Xpress recruitment is working with one of our city-centre clients to help recruit a Duty Manager to join the business. The property is steeped in history and boasts events capacity in excess of 300 people, award-winning food & beverage along with a great name for high-profile visiting clients.
The successful Duty Manager will have a primary focus on running hotel daily operations, predominantly conferences and events, and private dining. You will also get involved with the members club, restaurant, bars and lounge areas. Deputising in each manager’s absence, you will gain exposure to all areas of the property, lead the team and play a key role in ensuring the guests consistently receive the high level of service that this property has built its reputation on.
The ideal Duty Manager will be working in mainly a Food & Beverage or Conference & Banqueting operational role and be looking to take the next step on the career ladder. You will have a good understanding of what it takes to provide 4-star service and the desire to learn more about the front office side of the business. This position represents a fantastic opportunity to broaden your exposure and take the next step in operational management. Someone with F&B experience is desirable, and a positive can-do attitude.
