The Place:
Xpress is delighted to be working with a small group of independent investors as well as a large multinational organization that as part of their 2022/23 growth and investments plans are looking to recruit experienced country house Hotel General Managers to come on board in a range of Interim remit and responsibilities across a varied range of small rural properties that are going to experience investment and expansion over the next year.
The Job:
As Interim General Manager, you could work anywhere from 3 months to 9 months on a range of Interim Hotel Management remits across small luxury-type rural hotels based across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. You will be responsible for the day-to-day sales, marketing, revenue streams, and operations, and of course making sure that all areas of compliance are being implemented primarily within the areas of cleaning, health and hygiene safety in line with the companies and departmental remits. You will report on several different remits to either a Regional Director or an Independent Owner making sure that you are carrying out in your interim remit all standards that have been agreed upon for the hotel, restaurant, and bar and you will work to all the companies compliance policies in line with the companies SOP’s.
The Person:
Ideally, we are looking to attract experienced individuals who perhaps now want a change and have small rural Hotel experience, would like to make a change and perhaps want to work in a smaller island-type rural location rather than a countryside establishment or indeed someone who enjoys working in an Interim environment but is looking for something longer over 6 months to 9 months instead of 1 to 2 months where you will be part of a small compact team.
The Rewards:
Our clients are looking to appoint these Interim remits by the end of October, the start of November circa £38,000 to £43,000 plus accommodation and agree to related benefits and bonuses.
