Our client, a city centre-based hotel has an amazing opportunity to join the Maintenance Department as the Hotel Facilities Manager. This role will lead the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations, ensuring safety, security, conversation, and compliance at the highest levels.
The Job
As Hotel Facilities Manager, you will report directly to the Hotel General Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a well-known local employer, where you will have an opportunity to be working on a varied range of planned and ad-hoc annual maintenance and refurbishment programs, you will be fully responsible for communicating and organising all internal maintenance across the Hotel’s team of Heads of Departments. This will require working on small, medium and large projects covering everything from interior painting, repairs, electrics, gas and joinery work which will be required to be audited and registered in line with the company's Health and Safety at work act. The hotel works with local industry-registered trade bodies regarding audited maintenance checks and audits.
The Person
Ideally, this job would be well suited for an experienced Hotel Facilities Manager or a time-served tradesperson or indeed an experienced Maintenance Manager who might well be working on a large-scale project and is now looking for a single site remit. The current role may well suit perhaps a qualified electrician, plumber or joiner who is now looking to be based at a single fixed site rather than travelling from site to site as part of your current daily role.
