Xpress Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of our established Large Country House Hotel properties based in Central Scotland - Owing to internal changes and promotions they are now looking to attract an experienced Director of Finance from a hotel/resort background to help the Senior Management Team improve and develop new and exciting financial systems and process for the business.
The successful Director of Finance will have complete responsibility of the Finance team, for the daily business within the hotel, payroll, reconciliation, purchasing and all Food & Beverage / Liquor controls. Producing MI, managing cash flow, payroll aspects, etc. Reporting to the property-based GM you will play a key role in ensuring the business keeps on target while also getting involved in setting the budgets moving forward. The ideal candidate must be from an existing Hotel/Resort environment and be someone who is familiar with the current hospitality industry specifics, you could be an existing Finance Manager looking for that step up or indeed you might be a highly proficient Director of Finance already just looking to take that next step up into a larger and more complex remit. Above all, you must be able to demonstrate within your cv to date a solid experience in good quality, multi-outlet hotel or a large resort experience, preferably in the luxury market. You will be an experienced people manager and also have the ability to develop great relationships with senior business stakeholders both internally and externally.
In return for the above our client is offering a salary of £70k+, plus an outstanding, personalised package.
