Xpress recruitment is working with one of our city-centre clients to help recruit a Senior CDP to join the Kitchen brigade. The property is steeped in history and has a great name for high-profile visiting clients to the city.
The Job:
As Senior CDP, you will be mainly responsible for managing a section in the day-to-day running of the main kitchen as and when needed. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual to join this dynamic kitchen brigade and bring some of their individual flair to the position. As Senior CDP, you will be working as part of a successful team ensuring that all daily tasks and prep is completed. You will also be supervising junior members at times, assisting and developing the skills of others. Experience working in a similar hotel environment with banqueting/event experience would be desirable.
The Person:
Our client is looking for someone who has a passion for delivering great service. no matter what the numbers are, as well as a good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen Legislation understanding. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, together with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. As Senior CDP, you will be someone that enjoys working and cooking and developing with the team around you as well as being able to achieve great results alongside the Sous and Head Chef. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure and support the kitchen management by supervising the junior team members. We are keen to speak to career-minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers. The Rewards:
