Xpress Recruitment is working with one of our city-centre clients to help recruit an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join this family-feel team. The property is steeped in history and has a great name for high-profile visiting clients to the city.


The Job: 


As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will in the main ensure the quality and standards of food and beverage service are consistently achieved and the staff are motivated and developed to enable them to meet the hotel guests’ expectations.
At the heart of this hotel, this operation boasts a variety of food, beverage and event experiences. It is attention to detail in this hotel environment that is key, delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding the guest experience in what will be a very operational role. Continually reviewing and improving this customer service and the guest experience. Ideally, you will be computer literate, although specifics can be taught regarding Rota’s, PO systems, etc. Working closely with the Management team you will work towards the continual development of the operation.


The Person:   


Our client is looking for a new Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the ranks from ideally a hotel background but this can be any style of operation (hotel, restaurant, bar. venue, contract caterer). The suitable applicant will have a great presence, an eye for detail and the ability to be professional yet friendly and create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. You will also need to have a proven employment history in supervising/managing and training staff as well as good knowledge and understanding of, stock and event management.
You will have the passion and drive to make that difference.
