We are currently seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper, or a deputy ready for to take their career to the next level, who can walk into a room and instinctively know what needs to be done, while ensuring attention to detail and immediate resolution of imperfections.
As our Head Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our offering and standards, always seeking ways to enhance the guest experience and elevate our service to new heights. Your ability to implement policies and processes, work within budgets and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be key to your success.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring outstanding cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail.
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of dedicated housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Support the team by creating a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and excellent guest experiences.
- Develop and implement efficient housekeeping procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and ensure budgetary targets are met.
- Uphold a professional and welcoming demeanour, always providing exemplary customer service to guests.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the property.
- Continuously seek ways to improve our current product and service, embracing suggestions from management and exploring opportunities for enhancement.
- Understand and deliver what our customers expect and desire, ensuring their satisfaction at every turn.
- Manage budgets effectively, demonstrating strong financial acumen and resourcefulness.
- Proven experience in housekeeping within hotels.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a natural talent for inspiring and guiding others.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address cleaning and presentation imperfections promptly.
- Proactive approach to implementing policies and processes to enhance efficiency and standards.
