The Job
As General Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this luxurious venue, overseeing day-to-day operations with a dedicated approach that will enhance the guests' experiences. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a people person with an exceptional sense of hospitality, looking to lead by example. You will be responsible for running all areas of the property—from guest satisfaction and team recruitment to financial management and strategic promotion—while upholding the highest standards of luxury service.


 


The Role
• Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment.
• Oversee and lead all departments: front and back of house, kitchen, reception, and housekeeping.
• Manage reservations, ensuring accuracy in records and guest preferences.
• Conduct regular maintenance, cleanliness, and kitchen checks to keep all areas pristine.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing seasonal team.
• Handle the guest house budget and in-house accounts, liaising with an off-site accountant for VAT submissions.
• Develop revenue-increasing strategies and utilise social media for guest house promotion.


The Person


• Proven Boutique Hospitality Management Experience: Ideally at a 5-star level, with the skillset to oversee all guest house operations.
• Versatility and Leadership: Preferably chef-trained or experienced in kitchen operations and willing to work hands-on in all areas.
• Exceptional Organisational Abilities: Efficient time-management and a talent for multi-tasking.
• Guest-Centric Mindset: A true passion for guest satisfaction and delivering memorable stays.
• Financial Acumen: Skilled in budget management, payment processing, and monitoring expenditures.
