Are you an experienced manager with a passion for retail and catering? Our client is looking for a talented General Manager to lead their team at their stunning venue near Fort William. The Venue has had huge success since opening and are now looking at growth and development and need a dynamic individual to help work with them to get to the next level.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the shop, cafe, grounds, and facilities at the beautiful site you will be responsible for a team of 15-20 people.
You will work within a friendly, locally-owned business with an excellent reputation and a strong tourist trade. There are workshops, retail outlets, and a superb café along with supplying 400 gift shops and 1000 hospitality businesses across the UK and exporting around the world, so there's plenty of potential for growth and development.
In this exciting role, you will have the chance to proactively find ways to improve the performance of the site, from evening events and weddings to food trucks and outdoor markets, there is plenty of land to host these. You will work closely with the directors of the company to produce KPIs weekly on site performance and maintain a clear focus on commercial aspects and revenue generation.
Our client is looking for someone with experience in managing multi-revenue streams within tourist and/or hospitality locations and have a natural flair for communication and leadership. You will also ensure a high quality of standard and service across all operations, ensuring a top-class visitor experience at all times.

Our client will reward the successful applicant with a salary in the region of £35000-45000.
It is desirable that you will reside in or near to Fort William.
