The Place:
Xpress Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of our established Large Country House Hotel properties based in the heart of Ayrshire - Owing to internal changes they are now looking to attract an experienced Events Manager from a hotel background to help develop the current inhouse Events booking and Operational Event systems and processes for the business.
The Job:
The successful Head of Events will have complete responsibility for all Event business within the hotel and all other areas that require Event Planning such as Weddings / C&B / private VIP engagements / Private Diners and small to medium gatherings / Product launches : High end car ; Boats ; Luxury clothing and garments. Reporting into the property based MD you will play a key role in ensuring the business keeps on target while also getting involved in setting the budgets moving forward all current events and financial reporting systems
The Person:
The ideal candidate must be from an existing Hotel environment and be someone that is familiar with the current industry specifics, you could be an senior Events Manager looking for that step up ? or indeed you might be a highly proficient Head of Events now just looking to take that next step up into a larger and more complex remit. Above all you must be able to demonstrate within your cv to date a solid experience to good quality, multi outlet hotel or a large resort experience. You will be an experienced people manager and also have the ability to develop great relationships with senior business stakeholders both internally and externally.
The Rewards:
In return for the above our client is offering a basic salary of up to £45,000 plus package. Our client is also able to offer short to medium term accomodation to help attract the right invidual to relocate to the stunning Ayrshire coast region
