As our Head Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our offering and standards, always seeking ways to enhance the guest experience and elevate our service to new heights. Your ability to implement policies and processes, work within budgets and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be key to your success.


 


 


The Role


·Oversee and manage the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency.


·Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of dedicated housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.


·Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and health regulations.


·Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk, events and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.


·Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.


·Manage inventory and supplies, optimizing budget efficiency while maintaining exceptional standards.


·Uphold a professional and welcoming demeanour, always providing exemplary customer service to guests.


·Possess exceptional attention to detail, promptly spotting imperfections and taking immediate action to resolve them.


·Continuously seek ways to improve our current product and service.


·Understand and deliver what our customers expect and desire, ensuring their satisfaction at every turn.


 


 


The Requirements


·Proven experience in housekeeping within a 5-star or luxury property.


·Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a natural talent for inspiring and guiding others.


·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.


·Ability to quickly identify and resolve imperfections.


·Outstanding organisational skills, enabling effective scheduling and efficient operations.


·Proactive approach to implementing policies and processes to enhance efficiency and standards.


·A mindset focused on continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.


·A flexible and adaptable approach, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a demanding environment.


·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


·A valid driver's license and ability to drive is essential.
