Café and Retail Assistant

Our client is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Café and Retail Assistant to join their vibrant team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service in both a hospitality and retail setting.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a positive attitude, capable of multitasking in a busy environment. You’ll be responsible for serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming café space, and assisting customers with retail purchases — all while ensuring a high standard of service and attention to detail.

The Role


Our client is all about offering a warm Scottish welcome — the kind that makes visitors feel like they’ve just stepped into a friend’s home. That welcome starts with you.


They’re looking for a friendly, versatile person to join the team, working across both the café and retail areas, and occasionally lending a hand with outdoor activities. It’s a hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.


You’ll be helping serve food and drinks, chatting with customers, handling payments, keeping the space clean and inviting, and making sure everyone checking in for activities feels looked after. If you enjoy a busy, people-focused role in a stunning location, this could be a great fit.


What our client needs from you


They’re looking for someone who’s motivated, organised, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. A positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a team-first mindset will go a long way here.


Experience in hospitality or retail is a bonus, but what really matters is your enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in. You’ll need to be flexible, as hours will vary and include weekends.
