Scottish hotel keen to expand into European golfing break market

The three-day Scottish Golf Tourism event, which will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in St. Andrews, is set to kick off next week at the Green Hotel in Kinross.

The Green Hotel is currently undergoing a £100k redevelopment plans which aim to raise its £185 million three-star rating to a four-star rating. The investment will enable Amity Hospitality, specialised in hotel management, to sell a 36-hole, four-star course in the lucrative European market this summer. Amity Hospitality, who run the hotel, will put it on display next week at the Scottish Golf Tourism Week, looking to get another four-star rating.

Founded four years ago, Amity Hospitality is now in charge of the ongoing development and expansion of over 300 branded and branded British hotels. Phase two and three would last for the remainder of 2023 and complete the upstairs lodging. The reception area and Jocks bar have already acquired a new up-to-date appeal.
