Loch Ness, Inverness: Focus on Scotland's tourism challenges

After meeting with leading tourism industry figures to discuss staffing issues, inflation and rising energy costs, Richard Lochhead also highlighted the "dedication, quality and excellence" of businesses in

Inverness and the wider region.

Mr Lochhead hosted Visit Inverness Loch Ness, which highlighted issues involving short-term letting, housing and planning issues, guidance changes and restrictions on alcohol ad advertising suggested by the

Scottish government.

Highland business executives have highlighted the urgency of a duel over the A9 with Scotland's Small Business Minister Richard Lochhead.
