Jupiter buys Mercure Perth hotel for £2.25 million

S Hotels and Resorts, owner of Jupiter Hotels, has purchased the long-term tenancy stake for The Mercure Perth Hotel at a discount price of £2.25 million.

Located in the heart of the city overlooking the City Charge, the hotel has 76 en suite rooms, a restaurant, a car and meeting facilities.

Dirk De Cuyper, Chairman of the Board of S Hotels and Resorts, the Thai hotelier owned by Jupiter Hotels said: "The Mercure Perth is a key location and an important part of our portfolio in the UK, we are delighted to have recently acquired the head lease.

Mercure Hotel was sold for a private customer to S Hotels and Resorts, the owner of the Jupiter Hotels.

The real estate has an unexpired, long tenancy of 46 years.
