Edinburgh pizza restaurant chain reveals new locations in Glasgow

One of Edinburgh's best-known brands, it is about to expand throughout the UK but it all started unbelievably thanks to the owner selling his rarely seen sneaker collection.

The first Civerinos outside the Scottish capital will open in financier Finnieston in Glasgow in September, following investment of more than £500.000.

Over £10k from sales of rare Nike SB Dunks and original Nike Air Jordans bought him his very first pizza oven, batter mixer, as well as many pieces of furniture.

Currently, Civerinos has four sites in Scotland's capital, including Slice Bars in Portobello and the city center, a restaurant in Hunter Square off the Royal Mile and a delivery kitchen with the company's

production kitchen, training academy and creative studio.

Fast Forward and Civerino's have now become iconic meals in Scotland's capital and have even been named in the top ten pizzas in Britain. Gastronomists and entrepreneurs are unveiling a new food truck

that is soon to deliver the brand's signature to venues and events everywhere in the United Kingdom.
