Our client is a small traditional Scottish country inn with rooms is situated 15 miles from the capital of the Highlands, Inverness. Looking for a proven CDP looking to develop and gain more experience on the management side of the kitchen taking on a more active senior role. The food is focussed on an all fresh offering with the produce having as much local provenance as is possible, part of the property ethos.
The Job:
We are looking to recruit a passionate individual to join the brigade. As a more senior Chef de Partie you will be working as part of a winning team ensuring that all daily tasks and prep is completed to the company standards. You will also be supervising Commis Chefs and leading the kitchen team in absence of senior chefs. A keen focus on ensuring everything is as fresh as possible and to the highest quality is essential.
The Person:
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure and support the kitchen management by supervising the junior team. We are keen to speak to career minded individuals who are looking to build on their management skills and develop their careers long term. You may be a CDP looking for more responsibility in your career or a senior CDP looking to work in an environment where you can improve management skills for the future.
The Rewards:
Salary is £21,000 on offer to the successful candidates along with excellent bi-monthly gratuities.
