The Place:
Our Client is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the team in this prestigious 5-star Castle operation, 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh, to help the brigade in producing quality food with quality ingredients.
The Job:
We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join an award-winning brigade. As a Sous Chef you will be working as part of a winning team ensuring that all daily tasks and prep is completed, you may also be supervising demi chefs and leading the kitchen team in absence of the head chef.
The Person:
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure, as well as supporting the kitchen management by supervising the team. We are keen to speak to career minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers long term.
Experience of working in a similar 5-star environment or in a multi rosette property would be desirable.
The Rewards:
Salary up to £30,000 is on offer to the successful candidates along with fantastic company benefits. You will work around 45 hours per week rising to 55 hours in the busier weeks. However the company work an annualised hours system whereby you will get all your extra hours you have worked back. The company also have an excellent training program for everyone that comes into the business.
