The Role
You'll work closely with the Head Chef and demonstrate your ability to handle high-volume service while staying calm under pressure. You'll also play a key role in supporting and coaching Commis Chefs, helping them grow in their careers—just as our client is committed to supporting your own professional development.
The Place
Our client has built a strong reputation for serving delicious, gastro pub-style food in the heart of Scotland. Passionate about quality, their menu showcases fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from Scotland’s rich natural larder.
Working as part of their food and beverage team offers a friendly, fast-paced, and rewarding experience. The 60-seater restaurant and lounge bar are popular with both locals and visitors alike.
What our client need from you
Our client is looking for someone with a genuine passion for quality food and drink, along with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. A true team player is essential—someone who thrives in a collaborative environment where egos are left at the door and the focus is on creating memorable experiences for every guest. They value fresh ideas and an open mind, always ready to try something new. Personality is key; they’re seeking someone who’s fun, approachable, and authentic—not a corporate clone. Flexibility is also a must, with a can-do attitude and the confidence to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
