We are working on an exciting new opportunity for a Head Kitchen Steward for a magnificent 5-star hotel in Edinburgh, part of an international group and a recognised name synonymous with luxury and service within the industry.

The Job
Working closely with all within the kitchen, you will ensure the highest standards of hygiene and occupational health and safety are maintained in all back of house areas, at all times. Overseeing the use of kitchen equipment, managing supplies and the usage of chemicals, you will also manage the team of kitchen porters on a day to day basis — using your ability to mentor and lead by example to set the highest standards for yourself and your team.
The Person
You will be confident and caring, focused on helping each individual team member achieve their goals and you will display exceptional attention to detail — drawing on your experience in a similar role at a four or five-star hotel. In turn, you will receive the support to develop your own skills as a manager and a back of house specialist.
The Rewards
Our client is offering a salary of £28,000, bonus potential and a company benefits package.
