The Place:
Our client currently operates within the UK Tourism Accommodation marketplace, 2020 has indeed been a year that many Accommodation providers throughout the UK will be glad to see the end of !! However, as a business our client has been making the very best of this very difficult times and through their internal senior management team they have made several tough yet needed changes along with completely restructuring the way the business operates . They are now planning and looking forward into 2021 and to help with these new changes they are now looking to bring all Marketing, Communications and Social Media back in house under their own internal management control and appoint a Head of Group Marketing.
The Job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be in the very heart of the business, with the opportunity to make this role very much their very own!!!!, initially you will be responsible for mapping out the existing marketing and on line collateral that the business has or does not have, then you will be tasked with setting out and establishing a marketing, media, Digital and Social media campaign which will cover the business currently and pending future needs and requirements. The successful candidate will have a small team and also be involved in working closely with the CEO and Board in making sure that all marketing that is planned and implemented and it all has a measurable (ROI) return on investment to the business.
The Person:
As this is a critical appointment at this stage we are only looking for candidates who can demonstrate a structured “marketing” background over a minimum of 10 years covering perhaps from a “marketing trainee, through to perhaps a Marketing Manager and might now be looking for that wider remit and responsibility.
As an applying candidate you must be able to highlight your “Marketing” and Social & Digital Media knowledge, the impact and results you have had within your career, this might come from being involved within a current Uk, Regional or large resort type “Accommodation Provider” or indeed you might well be working in a “Agency” capacity where you are responsible for a client portfolio and you are now looking for that opportunity to make that leap from “Agency” to Client
This role would suit someone that would like to have an impact in a growing and profitable business that is looking to have someone on board that will: Build and develop the current website presence through working with the required service providers, creating internally weekly or monthly e; newsletters, develop all areas of social media covering Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin. As well as making sure that traditional brochures and collateral are available for of sectors of the company’s client base that should require this format perhaps for attending trade and international shows when the time comes back to attend
Within this role the company has learned that good people do not have to sit every day in a central head office hub !! and therefore the company is looking to attract perhaps the self-motivate individual that will have a blended work from home and office approach to this new job at a new time in the business growth and future development after this unprecedented time in world Tourism, Hospitality and leisure.
The Rewards:
