For those who choose to stay, each of the hotel’s 14 deluxe rooms has been individually designed to provide all guests with a truly warm welcome! For someone just looking to enjoy a sumptuous meal or a catch-up with a friend over a coffee, the Cairn Lodge has invested in a new premium dining food and drink experience across the hotel. It can be accommodated for “inside or outside seating with the Hotel now offering a superb destination eatery experience through their “Garden Room Restaurant””.
The Job:
As Head Chef of the Cairn Lodge Hotel, you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities of your team and the kitchen. Our client has rebuilt and repositioned the kitchen entirely to create a modern and highly attractive open plan. The kitchen has natural light, installed great air conditioning and workspace ventilation systems, making it a superb environment to operate in. Our client strongly believes that to attract the right people you need to demonstrate and invest in critical areas that modern employees are looking to work in. The state-of-the-art equipment such as modern cooking grills and a clean, bright, hygiene-safe space will only enhance the spirits of working in a great environment.
The Person:
Ideally, we are looking to attract a career professional. Someone that truly loves being at the heart of a kitchen working with their team and being creative. The candidate understands the changes in food trends like Vege, Vegan, Gluten-free, and deals practically with quality product that needs to be cooked simply to execution. As an Individual, you might be an established No2 or a successful Head Chef that is looking to take that next step! At Cairn Hotel Lodge you will receive the necessary tools to evolve your culinary flair. Our client believes in using local produce to create fresh, innovative meals at a great value. Working and building a good relationship with local, seasonal suppliers is crucial for a Head Chef and their team to design welcoming, modern-day dishes every customer will love.
If accolades and awards come through with the new Head Chef appointed, our client will be delighted. However, it is not a prerequisite as the appointment is about attracting a key senior member to the establishment and help the overall business grow and prosper.
The Rewards:
