The Job 


As the Head Chef you will be working closely alongside your team, and you will report directly into the Hotel General Manager to deliver a first-class product using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. This is a quality property with an excellent restaurant so working in conjunction with source ability and provenance is an absolute must to ensure the highest standards and continuity of service. Providing both a simple yet highly effective casual dining menu where margins and returns can be monitored and with the easy of using systems and procedures this can allow the new Head Chef more time to work with his team in establishing great food dishes to their customers through the Head Chef’s ability to write and cost menus that help and assist the team and management in the running of this outlet.


The Person 


The ideal Head Chef will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a casual or quality brasserie dining environment, possibly looking for a step up from a Senior Sous role that has worked in a similar smaller environment. Preferably with a Rosette background but not essential as the real focus is on the quality of the food, a real foody chef would love this role as you will be part of the menu design and delivery. This is without doubt a great position and due to location, it would ideally suit someone that wants to establish themselves in a small yet thriving property out with the busy city centre competitive food environment.


The Rewards 


A competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000, comes with additional benefits and a healthy share of gratuities.
