The Job
As Hotel General Manager, you will be fully responsible for managing your hotel . As General Manager, you must clearly be able to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness. As Hotel General Manager you will have the full ongoing support and backing of a Regional Operations Director who will be personally responsible for implementing your Company and property Induction, thus ensuring that you are able to get up to speed with all the companies’ policies and Procedures. As Hotel General Manager, you will be expected to direct, train, motivate and support your team in making sure that all your departments are working to agreed KPI’s as well as agreed brand standards. The job will also consist of managing your people to clear appraisals in line with a balanced employee score card policy thus ensuring all you employees are being develop within both their job roles and also person development goals.
The Person
As an apply candidate we are looking to be speaking with existing Hotel Mangers that have gained a solid impact in all of their roles to date ; Ideally we are looking for strong cv indicators of established career moves and progression ; Currently this role is a full serviced large hotel outlet so applying candidates currently working in that type of environment looking for a step up into a larger hotel would find this role attractive compared to perhaps a GM working in a restricted Budget background
