Our client a stunning 4* Hotel in Aberdeen part of a national hotel group is looking for a Conference and Banqueting Manager for their stunning 4* property. Boasting over 100 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, bar and extensive Conference & banqueting plus a state of the art leisure club, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and constantly evolving business.
The Job
Working closely with and reporting to the Operations Manager you will have full operational responsibility for the day to day running of Conference & Banqueting. You will take control of a very busy cash bar operation looking after P&L and wastage. You will run VIP hospitality, event management, corporate conferencing and high volume banqueting. You will assist in the management and development of a diverse and talented team as well as managing and over achieving on site client expectations.
The Person
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a consistent employment background with experience of managing a business that has included high volume and quality C&B/F&B services. You must have effective people management skills and have the ability to create genuine client relationships.
