Our client is a leading independent based in the central belt of Scotland. Owing to internal promotions and recent changes, our client is now looking externally to attract a highly organised and experienced Assistant Financial Controller.
The Job
As Assistant Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing the financial control, reporting and management information. Working closely with the FC/Genearl Manager, you will be responsible for managing the department ensuring compliance with statutory and company accounting and control procedures. You will oversee the management accounts for both sites, diarise P&L reports, manage costs & audits. The financial controller will have a commercial business brain with an analytical approach to your work.
The Person
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in finance in a similar sized property. The ideal Financial Controller will have excellent communication skills, be a team player and enjoy a hand's on role. Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial as well as experience.
The Rewards
A competitive salary £26,000-£30,000 plus company benefits and fantastic development opportunity will be rewarded to the successful candidate.
