Wetherspoons £200 million expansion to create 10,000 new jobs

Wetherspoons has announced that it will be investing £200 million in pubs and hotels in the next four years, creating about 10,000 new jobs.

The expansion includes opening new pubs and hotels as well as improving and extending existing sites.

The investment will focus on small to medium-sized towns such as Hamilton (Scotland), Ely (Cambridgeshire), Prestatyn (North Wales) and more! Larger areas like London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Galaway will also receive some investment.

Tim Martin, Wetherspoons founder said that the company was looking forward to investing in ‘many more new pubs’.
