McDonald’s to release its first vegan meal in January

McDonald’s has announced it has created its first ever vegan meal which will be launching on 2 January 2020. The timely launch will coincide with Veganuary, a movement to encourage veganism or reducing animal products in your diet.

The meal includes goujons made with red pepper, rice and pesto that will be prepared completely separately from all meat and dairy products. McDonald’s legendary fries will accompany the tasty dippers. Both the dippers and fries have been awarded a full Vegan Society accreditation.

The meal costs £4.99 or £3.29 for the goujons by themselves. The dippers will also be available in Happy Meals for vegan youngsters!
