Feast for Investors: ePOS Hybrid Enters the Latest Crowdfund Campaign

A catering tech company has announced plans for rapid business growth and a host of innovations and product progressions.

Based in Edinburgh, it was set up by serial entrepreneur Bhas Kalangi, who said: "Investors" response to our second seed round has been quite overwhelming.

The technology company has created a payment, digital order and operations management platform to provide a centralised management centre for food and beverage manufacturers.

A total of 329 backers joined the latest round, raising £634.652 on the Crowdcube platform - most of it from repeat offenders and existing networks - plus an additional £100.000 from an angel investor.

Andrew Gibbon, chief executive of ePOS Hybrid, said the technology company was "able to innovate and thrive throughout the pandemic, despite the hospitality industry grinding to a halt"

The company has spent the early part of 2022 trying out its services in India, but plans are in place to launch them in the vast and largely untapped subcontinent market, where there are fewer competitors.
