Topshop launches new vegan shoe collection

Topshop have launched its first vegan, cruelty-free shoe range. The collection boasts six sandal styles, that are available in two different colours.

The collection is made using non-animal products, including the avoidance of fish glue, ensuring it is completely vegan compliant. The shoes are handmade in Span, and packaged with vegan-friendly materials. The collection has been approved by animal welfare organisation, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatmeant of Animals).

The shoes range from £42 to £59.

Topshop believe this to be just the beginning of its vegan journey.

Fashion director, Maddy Evans said:

“Initially we’re focusing on footwear and introducing six new styles that are produced alongside our premium shoe lines in Spain.

“We can’t wait to see how shoppers respond to the design-led collection and how far we can push vegan products across our accessories offering.”
