The Place
We are currently looking to recruit a strong Assistant Manager to join the team up in Aberdeen for a rapidly expanding national retailer. Our client has just recorded a fantastic trading performance during 2009 and has plans to open a number of new units in 2010.
The Job
As an Assistant Manager your role will be to drive a team to effectively manage the overall running of the store. Concentrating both on front of house customer service, merchandising and sales as well maintaining stock control, operational process back of house and maintaining high store standards.
The Person
Successful candidates for this role will have had previous retail management experience within either a high volume retail environment or within a process driven operational management role. You must have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of stock related processes, have good management skills in order to get the best out of your team and also have the drive and desire to deliver great customer service and meet stretching sales targets.
The Rewards
A competitive salary of between £25000 to £30000 plus company benefits and fantastic development opportunity will be rewarded to the successful candidate.
