The Place:
Our client is a quality driven traditional style country pub located in Fife, just outside Glenrothes. Due to internal movement they are now looking to recruit a Head Chef. With a busy all day food operation, offering a cozy and ambient environment tthis is very popular, busy operation with a great reputation which offers an excellent career opportunity for the right Head Chef candidate.
The Job:
As a very Hands-On Head Chef you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the right image, style and reputation is being portrayed. This is an ideal opportunity for a current Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking to make the transition into more of a Kitchen Manager role, from a busy volume driven outlet to come onboard and make their mark. As Head Chef you will work to achieve a level of consistency demanded by such a venue by ensuring company menus are adhered to and daily menu changes are creative and profitable.
The role of Head Chef is extremely diverse, managing the rota`s, controlling all dry stock, training and development of staff, managing hygiene, along with ensuring health and safety policies are adhered too.
The Person:
As a Head Chef, this role will suit an individual with a flair for managing teams and developing individuals with the skills, experience and passion to run their own kitchen. You should ideally come from a busy, quality bistro or brasserie background with previous experience of restaurant kitchens in a branded and volume led environment.
The Rewards:
For the role of Head Chef, our client will offer an excellent package in the region of £20,000 £23,000 per annum, £3,600 per annum performance related bonus and full company benefits for the right candidate.
