The Place:
Our client over the last 20 years has built their reputation as a very shrewd and articulate Hotel operator through acquisitions, management contracts, property sales, re investment and re positioning they have build a highly profitable and robust business within the UK Hotel marketplace. With strong leadership and direction the business has continued to grow and indeed in today`s economy there financially year on year sales performance have been indeed stunning given the current economic climate.
The Job:
As General Manager you will have the overall responsibility for managing the day to day operational remit of this extremely busy and successful “Resort” property. This role is a highly demanding remit and will require a truly committed “Hands on Operator” You will need to be commercially accountable for your financial delivery coupled with ensuring that all of the companies brand standards, procedures and systems are controlled and implemented inline with company policies.
The Person:
Ideally we are looking to attract a highly established and indeed award winning General Manager who will be able to have an immediate impact upon this highly demanding and profitable business based within the Yorkshire area. Applying candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate a successful track record of achievements in their careers to date. A sound understands and working knowledge of F&B to at least a minimum rosette level with the ability to drive sales and marketing through all available channels open to them, there team and company resources.
The Rewards:
This role with have an excellent starting salary circ £65,000 coupled with first class large company benefits and senior management bonus circ 15% initially management accommodation can be provided within the first 3 months probationary period.
