The Company:
Our client operates the most renowned international conference venue in Scotland; a vacancy exists for a Sales & Marketing Director
The Job:
The Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for directing, shaping, growing and developing sales, within the national, European and global marketplace.
As Sales & Marketing Director you will be required to join this fast moving and progressive organisation to help push it to another level. You will manage a team of nine proactive sales and marketing staff and work in close synergy with the operational and events team to exceed targets.
You will be an experienced Sales & Marketing Director with strong team building and leadership capabilities who can harness potential within and is able to direct, empower, motivate and inspire a team into delivering results. A creative innovator with business acumen to match, you will be able to set and manage performance targets.
The Person
You will possess a minimum of 5 years proven sales experience leading a business, including sales team management, extensive business development exposure especially in International markets, strategic planning ability and full KPI responsibility.
Proven experience in the conferencing, tourism, hospitality or travel industry at senior level is required.
The Rewards
Salary £45,000 to £65,000 depending on previous experience, plus target related bonus scheme, other benefits include contributory pension, life cover and if appropriate relocation expenses.
