The Place;
Our client, a hugely popular and somewhat iconic Restaurant & Bar in Edinburgh city centre, is currently looking to recruit an Deputy General Manager for their already successful and multi-talented team. Together with an award winning style & a slick yet upbeat and friendly service this is without a doubt one of the capitals leading venues that can cater for variety of social occasions.
The Job;
As Deputy General Manager within this branded operation, you will be performing in an extremely hands on role. Whilst being part of a great team you will ultimately be reporting to the General Manager. You will be expected to have knowledge of and be competent in managing all aspects of the business - focusing on the delivering of uncompromising customer service in order to ensure the venue maintains its reputation as a market leader.
The Deputy General Manager, as a highly operational part of the management team, will be directly involved in controlling and managing stock ordering, team training, recruitment and ongoing succession planning and development. As part of your remit you will also be involved in pushing revenue onwards and upwards in line with site budgets.
The Person;
As Deputy General Manager you will need to attain a high level of personality to work for this prestigious employer. It`s key that you understand the way your customer works and what their needs are.
This is clearly a highly challenging yet rewarding role that requires previous management experience preferably with high volume restaurant or bar environment.
You will need to be able to demonstrate good people management skills, proven experience of delivering on target financial results and have the enthusiasm and passion to deliver the experience that customers have come to expect.
The Rewards;
Starting salary of between £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, 40% per annum bonus potential, and fantastic career development opportunities
