The Visitor Attraction is planning to open in autumn 2018 and is the first UK designed museum to be built outside London. This will be the centrepiece of the renovated Dundee waterfront and has hopes to be a celebration of design both internationally and nationally moving the city forward into the 21st century.
As Head Chef you will be totally responsible for managing the complete day to day running of this business which will be agreed by you and the executive team as part of the overall estate strategic vision and development. You will be fully accountable for the Financial day to day targets as well as all agreed GP’s and supplier negotiations, you will be fully on board with the product and will work to a clear business plan.
Our client is looking for someone who has passion for innovative menus, an interest in food provenance, and a flair for baking, as well as a good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen Legislation understanding. Previous experience in a similar role is essential as are computer skills and financial acumen, together with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. Experience from a similar high volume fresh food establishment is vital to be considered for this position is desirable.
