The property is looking for an experienced, quality Head Chef that can manage a busy wedding and conference venue as well as a multi rosette dining restaurant. Situated in the woodland countryside of Aberdeenshire this country house dates back to the 18th century, the property is not far from Aberdeen and is close to all the major road networks.
As Head Chef you will be totally responsible for managing the complete day to day running of this business which will be agreed between you and the executive team as part of the estate's overall strategic vision and development. You will be fully accountable for the financial day to day targets as well as all agreed GP’s and supplier negotiations. You will be fully on board with the product and will work to a clear business plan.
Our client is looking for someone who has passion for innovative menus, an interest in food provenance, and a flair for baking, as well as a good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen Legislation understanding. Previous experience in a similar role is essential as are computer skills and financial acumen, together with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload.
Our client is looking to appoint a Head Chef on a package up to £45,000 with accommodation available if you are looking to relocate.
