La Flavorita now open for delivery and collection

One of Edinburgh’s favourite pizza takeouts, La Flavorita, has announced that it will reopen for collection and delivery! They decided to close temporarily due to the coronavirus lockdown but now feel they are in a much better position to safely reopen.

They have stated that their top priority is the health and safety of their staff and customers, therefore, the (now) usual protocols of facemasks, gloves and social distancing measures will be in place.

On Wednesday they posted a statement to Facebook saying:

“As the country gradually eases into phase two, we’re excited to announce the re-opening of La Favorita Delivered! The entire team is ready to go and we’re delighted to be back serving our customers.

Adding: “The Scottish Government have announced their plans to move to phase two, gradually easing the current restrictions on life and business and we feel now is the correct time for us to begin re-opening. Our priority is always to keep our teams, customers, and community safe. To do so, we are following government guidelines by having all staff wear masks & gloves. The restaurants are regularly sanitised and social distancing will be implemented for guests in and outside of our stores.

“Finally, we want to thank all the members of our team and our customers for their continued support throughout this period. We’re excited to begin serving our famous pizza to the people of Edinburgh again for both delivery and collection.

Delivery and collection services are now available from Sunday to Thursday between 5pm and 10 and 3pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
