Californian-Inspired ‘Feel Good Fast Food’ Chain Announce Sudden Closure

The “feel good” fast food outlet Bel-Air have announced the sudden closure of all three of their London shops. In a post on Instagram this morning the brand cite that they have been unable to secure the funding needed to continue trading and have been “forced to close [their] stores.”

“It's with great regret we must confirm Bel-Air Inc Ltd has ceased trading. We would like to thank our loyal staff for their enormous efforts and all our wonderful customers. Much love and thanks x,” the post said.

The company Bel-Air Inc Limited was run by founder/ CEO Andrew Bredon and co-founder Max Gates-Fleming, who was appointed company director in January of this year. The company launched in July 2014, with the first site on Paul Street in Shoreditch in March 2015. A site in Farringdon followed at the start of 2017, with the third shop in the so-called ‘cheesegrater’ Leadenhall Building in the City opening in May this year.
