Bar Tender, in this role you will be involved in the serving of beverages (usually alcoholic) from behind the Bar.

Mixologist, as a Mixologist you will be slightly more skilled than the Bar Tender. A Mixologist is someone who is skilled in the art of blending, mixing, preparing and creating cocktails.

Bar Supervisor, in this role you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Bar whilst you are on duty. You will be responsible for coaching the team as well as ensuring all security measures are being adhered to relating to cash and stock.

Sommelier, a Sommelier is a very specialist role and you are most likely to find a Sommelier in the finer establishments. As a Sommelier you will specialise in all aspects of wine service as well as matching wine with food.

Bar Manager, finally in this role you will have full business management responsibility for the operation of the Bar. This is a great stepping stone to lead you in to a larger Food and Beverage Management role.
