The Place:
Our client is currently looking to recruit an innovative and passionate Head Chef for their Manchester Hotel property. With an Internationally renowned brand behind them they are ideally looking to attract a career minded individual from the local marketplace.
The Job:
As Head Chef of this 4* Hotel establishment you will be financially responsible for running and controlling this busy and varied operation. Building a strong working team and key relationships in the kitchen will be a key operational objective, and you will actively manage the recruitment, development, motivation and coaching of your team in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times. This company believes that where a team works harmoniously the business will ultimately show increased profitability!
In addition to being a hands-on Head Chef, you will have full responsibility for stock control, achieving budgeted gross profit percentage, and of course that all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene initiatives and legislation targets are met and achieved.
The Person:
As Head Chef you will lead from the front line and be hands-on in the kitchen at key service delivery times, with the ability to steer the kitchen and effectively lead from the front.
Your personal standards should be invariably high and you must believe in your product 100%.
To succeed in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate within your career to date clear knowledge of working within a quality kitchen environment with a CV that shows progression to Head Chef level but extensive experience is not essential.
The Rewards:
